Small Batch was born out of the lifelong dream of Lauretta Reiss, who's Filipino artist mother exposed her to exceptional cooking and cuisine as a child. Later in her life, Lauretta traveled around the world and was deeply inspired along the way, eventually paving the way for the creation of Small Batch in 2014.
Lauretta oversees all creative culinary endeavors while Scott Reiss handles operational business details and manages the Small Batch at the Cupola Restaurant. Scott brings extensive restaurant ownership and management experience as previous owner of Richard & Reiss in Birmingham, Michigan.
Lauretta has created an artisanal dining experience for her guests in beautiful Harbor Springs, Michigan, through the bakery, restaurant, and catering services.
